Brochures were an important medium for public debate in the 19th century, covering major religious, political, social, and technological issues of the time, and providing guidelines for a variety of techniques and tasks. They remain a valuable primary resource for a wide range of disciplines. However, brochures are often underutilized in research and education because they are difficult to find and obtain. They are difficult to find in the few research libraries in which they are located. Often these small publications are grouped into large volumes and difficult to reference.

Purpose: Physical symptoms are the cause of many outpatient illnesses. We assessed symptoms in inpatients to determine frequency, persistence at discharge, and the relationship between symptom outcome and nursing satisfaction. METHODS: Over a 12-month period, 2,126 inpatient medical patients completed the study interview within 2 hours of admission. More than half (n = 1,168) of patients were re-interviewed within 24 hours of discharge. We determined the presence and severity of 11 physical symptoms, activities of daily living, mobility, mood, self-assessed health status, physical severity of illness, nursing satisfaction, and length of hospital stay.

Effect of different target solar fractions on heat needed to provide space heating, sanitary hot water and swimming pools in Iran: examples of cold climate

Limited fossil fuel resources, population growth, and the need to conserve energy and prevent pollutant emissions make solar heating a very important strategic solution. Due to these circumstances, this study investigated for the first time the use of a flat-panel solar water heater (SWH) in Shahlkod, a cold climate of Iran. Its purpose is to heat the space of a residential apartment, sanitary hot water and swimming pools. In addition, a technology-economic-energy-environmental analysis was performed. Three low, medium, and high sun score scenarios were selected for evaluation and 1-year dynamic analysis was performed with TSOL 2018 commercial software. The Meteonorm 7.3 software has already extracted the necessary climate data.
