Abstract

The probability of Type I error is usually determined inadvance and is understood as the level of significance of testing thehypothesis. If type I error is fixed at 5 per cent, it means that thereare about 5 chances in 100 that we will reject H0 when H0 is true.We can control Type I error just by fixing it at a lower level.
